What we do
We take defined design packages off your desk, produce them in your CAD environment, layer conventions, title blocks and drawing numbering, and hand them back ready to issue. You keep the client relationship and the design responsibility. We supply the production and the calculation behind it.
The practice is led by David Soumano, an electrical design engineer holding a Master of Electrical Engineering from the University of Belgrade, with more than six years in building services and railway rolling stock electrical design. Earlier experience covers design and build contracting, luminaire manufacturing and solar development.

Control panel and machine electrical design
Schematic and enclosure design in EPLAN Electric P8 and Pro Panel, for panel builders, machine builders and system integrators with workshop capacity but not design capacity. Complete schematic sets from a functional description or a marked-up predecessor drawing, terminal and cable plans, parts lists with structured article data, three dimensional mounting plate layout, wire routing and duct fill, thermal assessment, revision handling and as-built updates. Enclosure geometry can be developed and checked in Creo Parametric.

Lighting design production
The technical work behind a lighting concept, for studios and architects who hold the design intent and need the calculation, compliance and documentation delivered to programme. Interior and exterior photometric calculation in DIALux evo, luminaire schedules with equivalence assessment, emergency and escape lighting design, control zoning and scene documentation, installed power density checks, rendered output for client presentation, and tender documentation with technical comparison of offers.

Low voltage building services design
Distribution and installation design for building services consultancies and design and build contractors, priced as a package against a defined scope. Load schedules and diversity, single line diagrams, distribution board schedules, cable sizing with voltage drop and thermal verification, protection coordination and discrimination, short circuit calculation, earthing and bonding, lightning and surge protection, small power and lighting layouts, containment and riser design, and vendor-neutral technical specifications for procurement. Calculation is carried out in whichever manufacturer ecosystem you already work in, so the output is directly verifiable by you and by the reviewing authority.

Photovoltaic and rolling stock
Photovoltaic design covering string layout and yield simulation, low voltage and protection design, grid connection documentation, off-grid and hybrid systems and solar street lighting. Rolling stock electrical design covering schematics, cable schedules, low voltage distribution, battery and charger sizing, and interior and exterior lighting for new build and refurbishment.

Working with us
Pricing. Work is normally a fixed fee against a written scope and a named deliverable list, with a defined revision allowance. Framework agreements with call-off packages suit clients with recurring demand. Day rates are available where the scope genuinely cannot be fixed in advance.
Confidentiality and intellectual property. We sign your non-disclosure agreement before receiving project information. All intellectual property in commissioned work passes to you on payment. We do not reuse client drawings, details or specifications on other commissions.
Design responsibility. We support your engineer of record. We do not seek to displace you in the relationship with your customer, and we will not approach your customers.
Insurance. Professional indemnity cover is arranged to the level your procurement requires, with a certificate provided before the first commission.
